About This is a different shot of the same hill that is in my first panoramic that was sumbitted here.
This is simplot's hill in Boise.
Formerly owned by J.R. Simplot (The potato guy).

On the bottom of the grass you will see some ice blocks.
In the summer people will hop on these and ride them down the hill.
This was one of the few times I have not seen anyone on the hill so I had to grab this shot!

41 shots all merged into 1 using autostich.
Slight touchup needed due to wind!

This image had to be saved at 10% quality to fit the file size criterea... :(

--- edit ---
The house at the top of the hill was gifted by simplot to the state for the governer. They are currently remodeling it for the governer to be able to live and have social functions in the house without interupting the rest of the family!

The sky is wierd due to the quality I had to reduce it to. Sitelimits at 400k and the filesize is over 14mb.
Post ur email and I can send oyu the original!

Nice one Mike, the sky is really strange, here, I like to work but I am wondring why you have used 41 shot to make it, I have made one panorama with the same idea but I have used 8 shots only, using autostich too, soon I will post it in this website.

I will tell you about it :)

Confused?
The state of Idaho is known for thier potatoes.

J.R Simplot is one fo the biggest names in Idaho.
He has made himself a multi billionare by selling and adapting agricultural technology.

Iceblocking seems to be more of a rural thing but after bringing the picture to work I am very suprised at the amount of people that were not aware of this.

I was going to comment on the sky until I read your "about" - 41 shots?! Then it is phenomenal work and a shame you had to reduce the quality so much.

Must admit I'm puzzled by the potatoes and ice-blocks...

Interesting shot! What a shame you had to save it at 10% quality, though. :( I'd like to see the "real thing" - would you mind e-mailing it to me, Mike? My address is in my profile. Thanks. :)

41 shots - wow! Great result, though. Worth the effort!

All the best, SQirl

yea, the sky looks a little tweaked-out, but It seems like a nice composition.
