Thanks for your comment. I did really go down with the camera to the trunc, but I can see that it“s not so obvious in the photo. I had my big dog in the other hand, so I couldn“t play around too much:-))Yes, the light is indeed a bit too bright. Best wishes, Annemette

That brings up all the feelings when I was crossing such a gap for the first time. Only that there was no water under me ;-) Brrrrrr!
A very nice green image that conveys that special feeling of listening to the own steps and the murmor of the stream in the silence of the forest. A bit too much lights for my taste but very detailed nonetheless.
Keep it up and best wishes!
Nick
P.S.: Perhaps it could be a good idea to concentrate more on the bridging trunc, the main actor, by standing closer to it, and taking the photo from less height, enhancing thus the perspective? But this would let many of the nice green leaves out of the photo. A wide angle perhaps? :-/

Oooh you“re so sweet! Thank you. I“m glad that you“re such a good photofriend. Yes, it is a special feeling when crossing a creek or the likes using stepping stones or a tree like this. I once crossed a big fjord in Norway from up high on a real bridge, but a narrow one ffor one person hanging in the air and it moved quite a lot while I was walking on it. I was scared! Thanks for your comment, Annemette

Hi Annemette,
Didn't hardly know what to do when I wasn't able to view your images this morning... earlier.... Anyway...back to bussiness now. Love the Greens, the leaves, the water, and of course the 'title' ... This image brings back so many memories of being brave and crossing creeks , etc. a top of a downed tree... love it ! Excellent pov as well.
Best wishes, Michele~
