That's a great golden sunset, Michele. How were the colours in the sky when the sun was lower?
Use show a good use of the "rule of thirds" in this photograph, with the sand, water, and sky each getting approximately 1/3 of the horizontal.
This is a wonderful image to view, and I only have one suggestion: the horizon is tilted just slightly to the left. It's a good idea to be mindfull of that while composing a shot (I often make the same mistake myself). Otherwise people's feet may get wet while looking at your splendid picture.
