Wouldn't you know it, I lost a little on that upper left corner. But I still think that is the way to go. Just watch the brightness more carefully than I did. This is a great moody image.

Hayri, I have made my own adjustments on your image. I did not use levels or curves. I went to color balance and pulled some blue out, pushed some yellow in, pushed a tiny bit of magenta in. Then I raised the brightness enough to push the contrast up a bit without taking the shadows down. I like keeping the details in the dock and the bumper/guard on the boat.

I agree with neil to a point...only where the water is concerned..otherwise you will also lose detail where the front of the boat and the dock is...excellent clarity and colors,Hayri...

Nice composition; excellent scene. I think, however, that it needs to have levels adjusted, at least on the lower half. If you do it throughout the image, you will lose some of the wonderful clouds, but I just tried downloading it and doing it (very quickly, just to see) selectively, and it comes out better IMHO. I have attached it here, which is what I supposed this feature is for (first time using it.)
