About The higher larches begin to fire, in contrast with the shining green of the firs.
I preferred this blurry image to the neat one. A mistake?

Hello Giuseppe,

Congratulations ! A beautiful view with nice use of focus. Like the colors of fire a lot. Great idea and well worked out.

Greetz,
Albert

I think I'd like to see more in focus as to my there is too much contrast between the crisp detailed greens and the blurred trees. A mistake?--no. Nothing someone tries as an expirement is a mistake. Trying new approaches is the only way to learn new techniques. Besides, different things appeal to different people.

Very inventive idea, Giuseppe. The brilliant green intensifies the background colours. I do agree that the eyes are somewhat challenged to resolve the blur.

You are right Ckeveland, the trees are too central. Thanks for your interest and advice. I have visited your home and admired many good pictures. I see that you too like flowers, my passion.
Thanks again.
Cheers.

Giuseppe

Interesting shot Giuideppe, one would expect the background forest to be sharp in focus but I like what you did here, great coloristic impression. Cheers, NJ

Bellissima composizione, colori stupendi, molto bello il verde ricco degli aghi di abete in primo piano..che contrastano bene con i giā colorati larici sullo sfondo..mi piace l'uso del fuoco selettivo con lo sfondo blurry..
Ben composta!
Ciao, Ale

Sorry, dear, this just makes me dizzy. My eyes keep wanting to just look at the sharp branches in the foreground for relief.

Creative use of light and selective focus. Very well done Giuseppe. The trees seems a bit too central, otherwise a great shot!

Giuseppe, this is a good image, focus and composition are very well executed. IMHO I would like to see more of the blurred fire either on the right or left sides so that the large trees would be off center. This is only my opinion and through the eyes of an amateur photographer.
