What a shot!
Speeking strictly about techique a very well done macro that wins the last milimeters DoF. And in macro photography this is can get to a fight against low light conditions. The detailed textures of both natural and artificial are breathtaking.
And since they are so near to each other the brainstorming starts. The artificial was stronger than the natural, the machine killed life, the object without soul defeated the living being.
But the strength of the natural is not its hardness. It is its beauty. Lying there motionless it is still *the* eye catcher of the photo. Which turns one's mind back to the technical aspects. It is put on *the* focal point of the image.
Nothing to change, again a 7!
Best wishes,
Nick

Thanks Doyle. I thought I wanted to honour it and what better means than UF for doing so;-)It better remember me in bugheaven!! A last sight of Henry while being in the loo - poor bug. Blurry and scarry! Thanks for the comment:-) I hope you find the one dedicated to you which is not about toilets, astro vans, gulls or the like. I´m awful for not dedicating it to you in the title making you look at ALL my photos-hehehæ. No, it´s the St. Bernard! Take care, Annemette

Well now . . . You've certainly nailed the Focus, color, clarity and texture . . . Tack-sharp image. Not sure exactly what it's on though . . . Steering wheel? Leaf blower? Motorcycle (made by Chevy)? Maybe it's not to late? Did you try CPR?????
(Speaking of which . . . ) I can't help but point out that if you had flushed him down a toilet bowl . . . and he wasn't QUITE all dead . . . and LiL Henry was watching . . . THEN while he spun around on his way down the last thing this green dragonfly would have seen would have looked EXACTLY like the chaotic wallpaper shot of lil Henry you posted!!
Yep . . . this shot has it all . . . Well . . . except for the cute, cuddly puppy 'Awe' Factor. :)
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
