Wow, do you know how many faces and people I can see in this? This is almost like a "Where's Waldo?" picture. Very cool.... and very artsy. Whoever said it looks like a painting sure got that right.

I do not believe that a lens can paint, any more than a brush can paint. They are but tools for the artist/painter... :) I do paint as well as photograph, Renato. Perhaps this is why many of my images have a "painterly" feel.

I am also a painter and I suppose this comes through in many of my photographic images.
It was not a difficult shot at all. The image is not of the poppies, but of the reflection of the poppies. I shot straight into the reflector I used :)
