Extremely well done. The lighting really adds to the impact. I'm inspired to go home and annoy my black cat.

Morning Jan - yes, they look very similar and could be brothers. My cat "Oompie", meaning "old man" is about 7 months old, I have teken several shots of him and will upload some in future - specifically with the emphasis on his big yellow eyes and pure black face. All the best. Joggie

Just as an FYI followup to Sam's note: a couple of weeks ago i saw a posted picture from another USEFILM member and it was entitled CHOCO-CAT. It was one of my photos of Roland, published full size with vivid brown eyes. It was used without my permission. I called it to the members attention and he deleted the photo. It was weird because there are a bazillion black cats and maybe only so many ways to pose them. I look forward to seeing more of yours. --Regards, Jan

This is intense. It is hard to capture the details i a blck cat, but you have done it so well. I love the psoe adnd the way your cat fills the frame. PArticularly, the eyes are captivating. CAts sure know how to get their wishes across without being able to speak. We are catless at the moment, but will soon get another one. Out last one was black, like yours. Great shot. MAry

The drama and cat essence comes through so well in this composition. Some detail holds in the shadow - which I like! Eb
