I must admit, I never really understood the benefit of the rule of thirds, I have always preferred to centre the subject regardless of size, background or subordinate subjects. Maybe I'll start a "rule of centre" revolution, call it the "Edward's Rule".

Your shots are awesome Edward. Since your image is so huge to begin with you can get away with putting it in the centre of the frame. Rule of thirds not withstanding.
