Very well taken, great use of light. I would like to see this without the texture to experience the crisp blue against the white tones which I am sure is there in the original. Regards.

Oh P-Shaw! No re-work . . . just added some black lines left and bottom . . . nothing more. I'm not even sure it was an improvement . . . just left it for you to consider! And I LIKE it . . . purist or not!

Definately not for the purists huh?...but still nice I think! Thanks for the constructive critique Doyle...as you know, I always appreciate a different point of view. If I would have tried something like this, I would have mucked it up terribly...your rework looks pretty darn good!

Nice Robin!!! Not so much a 'grainy effect' but more of a textured surface is what comes to my mind.... I like the colors, composition and DOF a lot and this seems to fit the project very nicely!! The unique POV and the natural framing inherent in the left side daisy make me wonder if you wouldn't have been able to construct a more creative border using the stem to your advantage. Say . . . for example . . . allowing the line to follow (see example) at least for a couple of the sides. Great image . . . mind you . . . but I'm always one to throw things out there for people to consider!! Well done!

Straightaway love the texture and the warm colours. Then definitely took with the stem being almost part frame. What I'm trying to say is, original and gorgeous!
