I suppose everyone has something to say about something. Nick has a lot to say about...stuff, and quite frankly, I like not only what he says., but also the picture. It is what it is and should be appreciated as such. Yes the rocks could be sharper. Cant understand why no-one has jumped on the skew horizon (rules are rules u know)- but perhaps thats what makes this image as appealing as it is. Chris

Almost a scene of existential theater which transmits so many questions though it simply depicts a coastal scape. Very archaic shapes, very strict composition, and above all: No answers.
I don't know what could be done better here. Even the overexposed sky is in this case an element of expression in a perfect game between light and shadow. But it is expression that doesn't speak. It generates impressions instead, standing in perfect agreement to the overall mood of the completely unknown.
It is not excellent. It is not what it is! Zen and therefore a 10!

Thanks for the comment! this was one of the first photo's I had taken after buying my camera last year... I think the composition is okay, but as you said, really lacks an area of focus. just rocks and ocean, framed decently... nice to receieve honest comments! thanks, dave

I love the composition and tones here but feel a real lack of focus, I would have loved to see some of the rocks in crisp detail to anchor the photo.
