I love the mystery and intrigue in this. Like a film. Great lighting and in B&W.

Hi Kes, very interesting work. It looks like really old place and has very dramatic, mysterious view. For me, second version more meaningful, full of dramatic aspects and memories. Like it very much! Congrats
Kind regards, Khayala

Oh gosh no, your work is great....there is no tilt? Ok...maybe it's on a hill? Seems like the ground and tree on the right are higher than the house...no? Sorry Kes, just ignore me, maybe I'm tilted...and spooky too...LOL...:)

I think you're going through a scary phase Kes....Hahahaa....this one is very spooky for me. But then I'm afraid of my own shadow, outside at night...yikes!!! Technically I think the lighting and tones are good, you show some great details for a night shot, but compositionally the tilt bothers me a bit. Still it's a great shot for other reasons, especially for the sentiment it has for you. I'm sure it brings back memories...nice of you to share it with us....:)

Lovely idea with a poetry definition! Perhaps it is not as dramatic as the point of the title, possibly because of the extra light from the train as you explained. However I have sympathy for the image for the reason that: 1. It is a symbolic and poetry illustration 2. It has an emotional view 3. It looks mysterious Best regards: Maxime Lovely idea with a poetry definition! Yes, great shot, fantastic composition. Perhaps I try to convert in sepia, but it's my idea. Love the mysterious atmosphere, and the star is appear on the background, this one is very nice vision. Great work my friend!

Hi Luis! Thanks for looking and for your comment. I think this shot has sentimental value to me (my bias), as I lived in this house for twelve or so years. And of course only I know those are train lights in the background, as it is not discernable from the photo. Best wishes, Kes
