I think you're going through a scary phase Kes....Hahahaa....this one is very spooky for me. But then I'm afraid of my own shadow, outside at night...yikes!!! Technically I think the lighting and tones are good, you show some great details for a night shot, but compositionally the tilt bothers me a bit. Still it's a great shot for other reasons, especially for the sentiment it has for you. I'm sure it brings back memories...nice of you to share it with us....:)

Lovely idea with a poetry definition! Perhaps it is not as dramatic as the point of the title, possibly because of the extra light from the train as you explained. However I have sympathy for the image for the reason that:
1. It is a symbolic and poetry illustration
2. It has an emotional view
3. It looks mysterious

Yes, great shot, fantastic composition. Perhaps I try
to convert in sepia, but it's my idea. Love the mysterious

Hi Luis! Thanks for looking and for your comment. I think this shot has sentimental value to me (my bias), as I lived in this house for twelve or so years. And of course only I know those are train lights in the background, as it is not discernable from the photo.
