I didn't notice the blanket at first, but I like how you did that and the meaning behind it. To me this image is perfectly straight and it's a great exposure. I like this a lot. :)

I´m glad that you noticed the blanket, Doyle! If not your dogs would have:-)) I made the livingroom be B/W due to the memeories that rule the place and the colourful blanket because Mette still uses that one. All the best, Annemette

Dear Mary Thanks for noticing the colourful blanket. I wasn´t sure that all would notice that detail which for me is significant in the story I tell. Life is not so colourful anymore, most of the livingroom is memories (B/W) but she still lives there and uses the blanket that I have left in colours. Best wishes, Annemette

Wow Annemette . . . this is really good. Great exposure under what looks to be difficult lighting. Wonderful clarity throughout and the composition has so many places to entice the eye to wander about with . . . until settling on the brightly crocheted afghan which has been left as the only locale for the selective coloring in the shot. Very nice work my friend!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

An amazing and so interesting and real story. Image matches perfectly. The coloured seat- great idea that is poignant.
