To me the focus is on the entire rock formation as presented in this shot. I found myself looking at all of the little nooks and cranies, the patterns in the various rocks, the variety of colors - and marveling at what nature had done to create such interesting rock formations. The effects of winds, rains and resulting errosion are clearly visable in this small portion of the whole. If you divide the shot in half along the horizon, and then in 1/3rd's along the perpendicular - the 1/3 portion on the bottom right almost looks like the face of a rock monster.
