I purposely darkened the background to increase the 'eerie' feel here... though accept it is not to everyones taste. Really glad it's had the desired effect.

You have created a wonderful visual image of the story! The only thing I would say against it is that the background is perhaps a little too dark, thereby flattening the scene to my old eyes...
Make no mistake though, the whole story came back to me in this image. Fine job.
