Una bella inquadratura che conduce l'occhio in fondo alla prospettiva verso la piccola arcata illuminata che emerge dal buio. La mancanza di una presenza umana nella scena, concentra lo sguardo sul disegno grafico creato dalle luci e dalle ombre. La luce inoltre mette in evidenza il disegno della pavimentazione e la tessitura dei mattoni dei pilastri.
