Pat, sorry the Sigma does not satisfy! The Nikon 80-400VR is good but not quite in the same league as my new acquisition, the 70-200VR. Unfortunately, I can't get that one to go past 200mm. That 200-400 range remains a compromise because the really good glass is way beyond my means. The 200-400VR and the 400 prime would be a dream - just a dream on a retirement income! Eb

Eb - Another shot of fantastic color and contrast. I regret not getting this lens (in favor of the Sigma) every time you post a shot with it!

Awesome detail and colour here, Eb! It looks like this building was in a flood to produce the change in colour, but I guess the sun can produce the same effect. Well seen and captured. Dave.

A most beautiful image, Eb! The sun-bleached lower part of the door and cabin just make it more interesting.

Thanks, Michele - glad you enjoy the image! The bottom is sun bleached. The roof overhang and the orientation of the cabin seems to block the sun on the upper section. Eb

This is such a beautiful cabin door I don't even care why the bottom of it has no paint or a water-sealer on it if it did.
I just Love it. Michele~
