Thank you for your comment, Ultrasonic is silent, you have to almost put your ear to the lense to here it focus. It is also faster than a standard lense.

I wish my camera had the capability to capture a decent Moon picture. I need to use my telescope to do that. You show us the shapes of the surface features well enough. Unfortunately, your picture looks overexposed which washes out details, like the impact rays, which are so enjoyable to view at full Moon. If your camera can do so, I'd suggest shooting this again with less exposure and more contrast. Perhaps try when the Moon is not full. A full Moon is much brighter than at other times which may make it easier to have overexposure. Actually, when the Moon is not full, the features along the terminator (the edge between the dark and light) are quite incredible to see as the Sun rises on the craters and mountains and casts shadows. More details are evident and this may give you the opportrunity for a picture that you had not thought of taking.

I have tryed and tryed to get a close up like this, the EF 75-300mm Ultrasonic , what does Ultrasonic mean I haven't seen this on a lens before? excellent job.
