Bravo Jon! . . . Different programs have different methods but the ideas are all valid . . . (Just have to learn how to convert). As a final note . . . sea, when calm reflects the sky . . . some shots may require you to deal with both sea and sky together . . . it may LOOK fine but 'feel' off if the hues are too different. Love it though . . . great job!

Hi, Doyle - thanks very much for your kind comments and good advice. I use PSP 8.0 so the mechanics of it are slightly different, but the result seems to be quite reasonable, as per the attached.
Cheers,
Jon

Hi Jon: Another approach to rectify the pale skies would be available to you depending on the editing program you use. If you could select sky on your image, adjust light levels would bring in the true color and hues nicely . . . but they would have to be applied only to the sky. I use PS E4 . . . there, after selecting sky, you can hit Control - L and adjust only the sky . . . then de-select it and adjust the entire image at once. Should you have any questions or desire to persue this, just drop an e-mail to me at the address in my profile. By the way, this is a very well composed image!

Hi, Raquel - I think definitely that a polariser is in the cards for me. I have noticed that my skies tend to come out very pale.

Natural view, beautiful picture even if you didn't use any filter or polariser! Greetings R...
