About Glass can be used for various purposes. I like to paint on it.Actually I like to paint on whatever looks interesting:-)
This one reminds me of the icecore in Greenland where it ends up as a glacier with blue colours underneath, different shapes of ice and little streams of water running down the sides.

Thank you for your beautiful words that can only make me feel encouraged to paint some more

Of course I'm interested! I love painting nearly as much as I love photography... the only reason I don't love it exactly as much is that I can't really paint, whereas I think I'm quite good at photography. I love your painting... it is so vibrant and emotional and thoughtful and beautiful and glacially cool and, and, and...

Thank you so much!! You have no idea how happy I am to hear this, especially coming from you. Now I´m the one to blush!
I have some of my paintings, poetry and likes on my personal website www. rosenborgfoto.dk if you are interested. Some of them are not worth showing, but the website was mainly made for friends and family because we´re spread out around the nation. In this way they can keep track of what´s happening here in Hanehoved - you don´t want to hear the translation of that name*LOL*
Anyway my village is named after a vikingchief who had his head cut off by another vikingchief in Vinderød nearby. To scare off other vikings from approaching land, he put chief Hanehoved´s head on a stick in the water.

Stunning! I wrote that and then saw the first comment made on this uses the same word... so it must be true! You are a true artist, Annemette... I knew that from the off, but this is yet more proof that you are engaged with the deep stuff of life. 7++++++++

Thanks, Doyle! Mirrors? Did it work out well? Maybe I ought to try that, too:-) It really is fun trying different materials that are not traditionally used for artwork because the materials and the colours work very differently.
It bothers me a bit that noone really can see that this one is glass - actually an old window from my old house. It looks more fascinating when the glass steps more out!
Take care,
Annemette

Thanks for your comment, dear Fatemeh:-) Yes, I like to play with colours, shapes and materials. Unfortunately it´s not really obvious that this painting was done on glass. In real life it looks more fascinating due to the glass.
Be well!
Annemette

I love it Annemette!! I used to do oil paintings on mirrors . . . nothing but fun! This is intricate . . . detailed . . . and simply stunning with the very cool blue colors and the various hues derived from them . . . straying now in then out of the blue realm - Very impressive work!

Doyle I <~~~~~

This is so wonderful- definitely a work of art Annemette. Marvellous colours and textures. So strong and so 3d. I know you like green but these blues would be hard to beat!

very interesting and nice painting technique. Is it a sheet of glass? I like the colors. Very nice mood piece.
