a very excellent composition from the air. well done. few people have the chance to do this type of thing. i've been thinking of taking a hot air balloon over a few parts of china, but havent got around to it. great idea though if you can organize it.

warmest regards from china ~ james

Hi Tjaart - excellent shot. I saw Bertrands exhibition in Singapore at New Year 2006 - His prints were on display along the sidewalk of Orchard Road. Amazing - He also had some photo interpretaion in Braille. One was of shadows of camels - that image of his inspired my image Deset Ride - http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1211406

Hi Tjaart
Absolutely amazing - what a wonderful pic. Wow - what an experience that must have been.
We've just got back from there ourselves - first visit - beautiful beautiful country.

Reminds me of those incredible photographs taken by the French photographer who travelled by light aircraft and took shots of the varied earth landscapes, very well seen.

Wonderful photograph. The sense of scale is utterly obscured. This could be a piece of stone, say, one could hold in their hand. Well done.
