About	This depicts the power of an ice storm on trees as they strain under the weight of about a 1/4 inch coating of ice. This ice storm happened last weekend in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan.

Good DOF. I like the composition -- the road that leads the eye to the house in the background (C:3/7) The lighting is not bad (L:3/7) I am not an expert in photojournalism but I believe that if I need verbal explanation of what a photo shows me then there is something missing. Evidently, I can see white material on the trees and ground. I assume that it's snow and this is winter. The subject title corrects my (mislead) mind. I believe that the missing link here is the appropriate timing -- If this photo was take on a clear day then the ice-coverd branches will sparkle or had you taken a close composite of a budding banch that is chilled by the effect then you would've not needed two lines to explain to us what we see. Overall: 3/7. Good luck.
