This is probably not the strongest shot - minimalism and details tend to make these type of shots great. If you want to learn about composition I'd just say look at Piet Mondirian and his brand of cubism. There is a good dynamic that you can achieve by placing major elements off center.

For usefilm, I like the work of Jeanette Hagglund or Todd Miller.
