My favourite posting is the original closely followed by the special effects of the second in equal place with this excellent conversion to pure mono tones. Your subject material has lent itself well to experimentation. Great depth good detail...a delightful composition. Cheers Christopher....Ray

I like the B&W version too. I agree with Ann on the desolate nature of the image being highlighted by this working of it.
I also really like the colour version with the B&W sky - tres dramatique!

Hi Chris,

Of all the versions of this photo that you have put on the site, I think that this one works best. The black and white nature of the shot highlights the desolate, decaying nature of the "engine" and its surrounding area.
This is a keeper
