Hi there Christopher. Love what you've done with the sky. Very dramatic, emphasizing the Industrial (and sadly) abandoned building. It takes me back to my fleeting drives through Lithgow, very industrial and (very) cold. Bit like Southern England Nice shot...!!!

Hello Doyle, Thank you very much for taking time with my picture. This is the third version I have posted of this. Yes I agree the B&W makes a good photo and probably in the end my prefered version. I am always learning and was practicing my photoshop skills, I am new to ps, and was just trying things out. Regards, Chris

Very nice image Christopher . . . very well composed too. I would lose the pink gradient from the sky since it's distracting (IMO). As it happens . . . the desaturated sky also stands out a bit too . . . you might be better off with this image completely desaturated . . . or put the color back into the sky. My opinions, mind you . . . on how I think the impact of this shot could be improved . . . are only suggestions for you to consider. I still think you have a very good shot here!

Oh, Chris, I like this one! Very striking!
The jury might still be out, but I am suggesting a verdict of 'Guilty of capturing a great image!' LOL
Well done!
Cheers

Thank you dave for the kind comments. This is a site in Lithgow Australia where there was a blast furnace 1875-1932. The building was an engine house. http://www.usefilm.com/image/1143189.html this pic shows a large piece of iron from the furnace which has been removed. Regards, Chris

Not too sure about the pink gradient at the top, but this sure is a desolate landscape, Chris.
