sunset on a bridge outside Lower Sabie camp; the gate was already closed when we arrived (I took too many photos!); luckily my guide didn't have to pay a fine, but it was definitely my fault that we arrived late; photo taken without tripod, but next time I'll take a bean bag along-only read about this fantastic item in Kruger NP
Hi Ray, Thanks for your visit and yes I do have a carbone fibre tripod, but left it in my tent that day - very useful there indeed ;) Anyhow, the camera was positioned at the bottom of the window frame and I guess a bean bag would have helped getting the photo in focus especially as the car didn't move. Best regards, Mireille
5 secs/ f22 and hand held Mireille.....that's too much to hope for:):) You have a lovely looking landscape with great water movements and those beautiful day's end colour tones, so all is not lost. You have some wonderful photographic equipment, so you should invest in a lightweight carbon fibre tripod, they can be very expensive but they are very good. A bean bag can be handy providing it is propped against a non-moving surface otherwise the movement will be transmitted to your camera. They can be annoying and a nuisance at times but a tripod is the best answer. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray
