mannaggia, la foto poteva essere molto più efficace scattando in verticale... ci sono purtroppo spazi inutili ed elementi tagliati. Peccato perchè il senso è preciso!

Maurizio,
I experience problems with " shadow-highlights" for the right tone.
My pictures are converted in B&W with "channel mixer" and ticking the monochrome box. Then only adjusting contrast and mostly it's ok. But first of all always adjust yhe "levels".
Hope this is usefull:)

Yes, it's a very honest comment, thank you. Next time it will be very difficult for me to be there for a better framing, I don't know if I can go back to Lisboa... About the ps effects, yes... maybe I didn't find the right levels with "shadows-highlight". Thank you very much for you comment, keep up doing it to me!

I understand what kind of picture you had in mind!
Unfortunately I suspect you reacted a bit late or hastily and didn't frame acurately. Things that happen on the street! Beter framing next time.
Concerning the greytones there is something wrong (on my screen anyhow). I suppose overdone in PS.
Hope you can do something with this honnest comment.

Capisco le street non son foto di studio dove tutto è preparato,bisogna per prima cosa coglierne il senso e qui ci hai preso in pieno.

Il taglio purtroppo e' sacrificato perche' la foto e' stata fatta "all'improvviso", come la maggiorparte delle mie "street". In ogni caso mi premeva sottolineare il dolore fisico e quello psichico, di cui i due personaggi sembrano essere eloquenti portatori...
