I like scented wax-lamps so took a shot,sightly out of focus, & no play with shadows,no Photoshop work..just the original.

Welcome back, Jen !!!
How good an image is this ?? Well, I would say PRETTY good.. just couple of things I would like to draw your attention to:
1. There are shadows on the left and at the top. Did you keep them intentionally ?
2. The composition is slightly out-of-focus.. you probably need a good macro lens for these kind of shots. The focus and exposure have to be spot-on !!
Having said that, the framing and idea and choice of colors is SUPERB !!
And you do not need Photoshop for this !! :)
