The digital camera used allows control of settings, this was set for manual exposure at settings listed, and manual focus set to infinity. Several bursts included in each exposure, a card blocked off the lens between bursts, The great thing about photographing fireworks with a digital camera is that you can playback the last image (or cycle back thru several images) and reposition the framing if necessary before continuing to photagraph. Because of this, over half the shots taken were sucessful - a very high rate of success, at least for me.
Well done Howard. These are always a crap-shoot for composition, especially when allowing for multilple bursts. This one is done quite nicely. A great case for digital.
