I think it is the emptiness and the "for sale" made me think of your St. Joseph's pictures- they really stick. Often look at those alot where you have the statue and sky. (Went to school at a St. Jo's and worked there for years as a college. Now that too has been sold and converted to money spinning buildings. So I watch that closely too) I'd be interested in your St.Joseph's at the same time too- strange business!

Hi Mary, this is pretty far away from that, at least a 1/2 hours drive on country roads. The St. Joseph area is already clear, been watching it's progress.

Wonderful composition and tones. Sad to think of this turning into a subdivision, but that's the normal fate these days.

So sad and cleaned out. Apart from the little building and tree- (again very Samuel Beckett) which seems to stress the emptiness. It made me think immediately of the place you got the amazing St.Jo pictures. The trailer park cleared out for property profit.
