The tones and textures here, and the all over composition, are really outrageous. I love the surrealistic, documentary look to the image. It just works so well.

The only suggesion I could offer on this shot is perhaps to lighten the shadows a bit, helping us peer under the dock...but that's a minor quibble for a shot that is so colorful and nicely framed.

Brilliant abstract composition with excellent texture and lovely colours. The composition is very expressive. Love the exciting detais and great combination of two elementary colours. Nicely done dear Joggie.

Joggie, I find this an awesome selection of components for this composition - right down to the rope hanging strategically on the left. The foreshortening works well to unite the elements into a single abstract. I find the contrast of scale interesting between the small boats and the large hull. Eb

The bottom area is like a colours' palette of a painter. Beautiful simplicity. Ciao Joggie.

Congratulations, Joggie, this proves you've got a great eey. I agree that this one jumps out at you even in the thumbnail. Everything about this composition, from the rope hanging to the red boat behind the blue is just awesome.
I assume you also did some macro shots of the big boat's bow for your "oxidation" series? LOL.
Best wishes, Dave
