Eb - Great contrast and details. I'm glad to be out of the altitude! We see fawns fairly often this time of year around the property. I just usually don't have my camera!

Thanks, Jeff! Good luck with the lens! It will be better than the 70-300, but still takes good technique with the VR. For example, if you steady the camera lens directly against something (a tree,) with the VR operating, your results will be worse than without. This image is at 400mm. with more than a 50% crop of the frame. So this lens is sharp even full out! Eb

This is a very nice image Eb! Great detail. I got to use that lense this weekend and am thinking of getting one myself. This image may have sealed the deal man. Really nice shot here....
