This street journalism shot is a bit better. It seems to have a bit more impact if you have a focal point or image around which the action happens. That's present in this particular shot and (in my opinion) this shot has more impact because of it. Now if only the focal point was off-center . . . you'd have more impact and more BG to add interest to it as well. I disagree with Marcus . . . I think these shots are interesting. Problem is . . . political shots will (if done properly) turn some people more critical than they might otherwise be. It becomes difficult to separate the politics from the shot. Those who agree will be too forgiving of errors because they like the message. Those who disagree will be less forgiving because the shot conveys powerful, negative emotions.
