Thanks Chad! Your comments are appreciated. I elected not to use a polarizer on this shot due to overcast and wanted natural colours and reflections. A couple of weeks back, I purchased a new computer and to the dismay of the salesman, I requested a new crt instead of plasma or lcd monitor. Due to the fact you stated above.

Beautiful Catch, I think the shot looks great, the fish half in and half out of the water is really natural looking. I caught a 5lb brown trout in the sierra's last year, my biggest trout catch, I also released, I figured he must have been in that lake for years and deserved it. I do keep the planted trout though :) Great Catch and great shot..

I'm looking at this on a plasma monitor and there is some weird compression going on at the top of the net. A polarizing filter would have been nice here to darken the background and made the fish a bit more prominent as a focal point. Nice bow for sure!
