About This is main gate to Auschwitze - the path and gate which passed thousands of people who died. Not only Jewish, but as well Polish, Slovak, Czech, Russians, than political prisoners, priests, inteligence of nations, gypsies, homosexuals...all of them. They passed and never walked out... They were not free as we are today that we can go inside and levae anytime we wish to.
This place made me to think about values.

Picture was black and white...but a little I wanted to make a tone, which will bring a little light but melancholy as well.

A very moody melancholic image from Auschwitz where so many people had to suffer and die just for being themselves or for thinking independently. A place that brings such heartache, but also a place that should never be torn down especially in these times with ignorant, manipulative people denying holocaust.
It works real well in sepiatones. I like the misty light up in between the trees.
Best wishes,
Annemette
