About Hope to do a little series of this thingamajig. Anybody know what it is? Take a wild guess. (and no, it is not my Internet Satellite dish blown to pieces in a fit of anger)

And please, I lost my main monitor yesterday and am working with a very poor back-up. I have no idea if the colors and contrasting look anywhere close to okay. So if it is way off, let me know. Hopefully tomorrow I can drive into civilization and buy a new monitor.

Love this series - it is so country which I always love. I have to say it makes me a bit sad since my kitty lost her front leg due to our neighbor accidentally running over her with one of these but this sure makes for a great and unique abstract! Well done!!

Great shot of a "hay fluffer upper" :) Makes for an interesting abstract. The rich tones framed by the blue sky enhances the overall shot. Well done indeed Dave!

I love this one. The colours and the graphics work well together. The selected focus helps narrow your view and sort out the tangle of tines. The nice clean background also helps.

Do return visits by the same person count? If not, better make that 2, cuz I just came back to say... 140 inches? I have to get me one of those! LMAO!!!

Heavenly Hay Baler, Spiderman!

I knew when I shot this photo at this angle it probably would be my favorite. And when I viewed my results, this was the one that jumped out and said "this one first".

I like the others too but they get tangled in with one another at those angles. I wanted to do a series of them since I took life and limb in my hands by entering a private yard in a bad neighborhood to get these shots. But nobody bothered me. If I had tried this in Dallas, I'd have been jumped.

Yup, got a new fangled Samsung monitor, I think it is like 140 inches. Or something. I still am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other, though. I guess I should've tried new glasses first.

Dave

(PS: dear viewer, take one off the comments cuz I'm answering under my own pic)

Holy spokes Batman! Can't believe you couldn't initially see how great this image is. Out of the four, this is the strongest in composition I think. I also like the darker subdued colour here. But I think it's the repetitive patterns that hook me. I have no idea what it is and haven't checked the rest of the comments yet. Will do that now... Did you get your new monitor?

WOW.....whatever it is it makes a great composition. I've NEVER seen another image like this.

Colors look fine to me, I like them.
This looks like some kind of wierd wheels with crooked spokes (my spelling doesn't look right, but oh well.......) Anyway...I really have no clue what it is!

Good find, (where did you find it?)

Nice capture, I like it,
Lori :)

The color on this looks very nice Dave, the others were somewhat on the warm (yellow) side.
This is a hayrake. After the hay is mowed t hey run this over the ground it puts the hay in windrows. Hope you get y our new monitor. I have a flat screen now and really like it. Don.

I think this is called a tedder, Dave. The colors look fine from my end. You've created a nice abstract here!

Hi Dave, the colours and contrast look good to me. It is interesting and I have no idea what it is... reminds me of a wheel spoke though. Good DoF, it brings depth to the picture.

Estupenda composición... sólo tú sabes lo que veías en el monitor...yo la veo muy bien...pero claro hay que tener el parámetro para comprobar... lamento lo de tu monitor.
Es una creativa imagen donde tu talento hace gala de excelencia!!!
