Great idea Paul...I will have to try that the next time I go down there. Had the Polarizer on there but turned it to balance some reflection with some enhanced color in the foliage. I will try that one next time. :) Thanks for the idea!

Whoa. the long exposure smoothed out the water, but those flows still created a fascinating depth to the water. I wonder how different this image would have been had you used a polarizer to minimize the reflections on the surface.
Now that I think about it...that'd be a cool photo: Have the polarizer kill off the surface reflection, but a long exposure would still blur the river bottom in the shot. Hmmmmmm.
