Excellent shot, my friend. You're getting better and better. Seems your 20D is working quite well for you. I just bought a 350D yesterday and it should be here in the next few days. :) Although, it makes me wonder about it - I did order it on 6/6/06... Hopefully, it doesn't arrive in pieces or in flames. :)

He is so prominent agaisnt this background. I really like the contrasts and how the stump matches his colour and is partially hidden by the brush. Superb shot. MAry

Squawky little creatures, aren't they, Todd. Here the western kingbirds yap at the easterns all day long. Excellent bokeh. The color contrast between gray post and green background makes the subject stand out well.
