A great night photo, John! Excellent in its extremely dark and extremely bright parts, which are neither over- nor underexposed, despite the fact that this is almost impossible to do in night photography! And then comes also the great composition that makes the picture to one of the very special stuff!

Well John, they reckon the Yarra flows upside down so good choice with the brown tonings! Excellent control of the exposure - not an easy subject - congratulations on the award.

I agree with the staff John - excellent composition. But where else in the world would they call a boat "Florence on the River" or, name a swimming pool after a Prime Minister who drowned!!?? (LOL).

WOW John, what a wonderful image you have captured here. The sharpness is outstanding and I'm sure the exposer was tough but you nailed that too. Captureing color at night is always iffy but you did a great job there too. Last but not least the DOF is spot on.
I can see this haning on a wall in any office anywhere.
I really do like this......alot!!
