Thanks to all for your comments and for visiting my page. The color combination in this shot really pleased me. I'm used to the cultivated varieties of lupine which have such vivid colors. This wild variety hit me BAM! with it's natural subtlety against that backdrop of the green meadow. -john

Great shot. Looks just like a painting. Would be a perfect nature poster. Love the rich detail. Great color and depth is great too. I like how the flowers in the background are fewer and separated so they don't overwhelm the main subjects in the foreground.

Serene selective focus effect and pleasant background bokeh. I like the subtle shade of the wild variety better then the ones I photographed, which are an intense blue.
