Thanks for taking an interest Gayle, I do appreciate the time you took to work on this picture. Most of my pictures are for websites and nature studies. My own feeling on this crop is that it looses some of the overall details on how the flower groups and grows. Now when you say that this picture was centered do you not find the main subject lower then center with the other two going off into the corners? Or are you saying that the whole grouping is centered? I find this very useful information. Thank you again for taking the time. All the best, Chris

hi,these are my fave flowers...have a thing for blue flowers and these are so dainty that they always remind me of fairies and gnomes ;>
Dof,clarity, color and selective focus are all well achieved, but the composing is once again very centered...have attached an alternative crop to show you what i mentioned previously...do you think the image has more impact with this suggested crop?...if you are composing your floral shots as nature studies primarily for a field guide, then the way you compose suits such... regards, gayle

The colour is great! I love the way it gets gradually blurred, the out of focus touch is of great effect. But...I believe there is an insect on the upper right side flower (??????) I'd have preferred the shot pure, just because they are "foreget-me-nots". Best regards, Gabriela

You have made a beautiful photo to my beloved, humble and elegant forgetmenots! Excellent the gradual shift out of focus; good depth for the blurred flowers escaping towards the two upper angles. The color is perfectly natural. Bravo Chris. Ciao.
