Hi John, Excellent shot, and very well composed. Very simple, strong and appealing, creative photo.
I really don't understand all the commotion about the award Kambiz and Douglas create. As far as I'm concerned, this one deserves it, and their photos don't. The timing is unimportant, I think this photo would've been awarded sooner or later....

This is very cool! it looks like a Kiwi Fruit! It's cropped and framed really nice. It's hard for me to pin point exactly what it is that makes this such a cool picture but it really does deserve the award! Congradulations
