About This is one of the few photos I took of the surfing used a 300ml lens but still wasn't big enough they are slightly cropped and a bit of art added to this for some differant effects iso 200

great shot, and like john i think that it would be stronger with no central position, but i also know that this kind of shot are very difficult...

Tracey,

This is a really nice action shot...the only thing is that I would recommend is that you place the subject a little more off to the right...this would give the photo a little more impact...but still a great capture.

Cool shot..great effect, and I too like it on the side. The colour of the water is gorgeous.it is really hard to ge those surfers Trace, and you did a great job. I would love a day at the beach...it is so cold here right now.

Tracey I can see the problems you had - particularly lack of sharpness (but they use lenses as big as cannons (LOL)or shoot in the water - but I guess I am more concerned that the surfer is dead centre - I feel it would have more impact if you cropped say, half of the right side.
