Thank you so much for the nice detailed comment, Doyle! In fact I was looking for a perspective for that doesn't have these problems for a telephoto, but I was simply too low *and* too "skew", and I couldn't get that from any other position. So, then I thought, let's turn the disadvantage to an advantage and shoot some really "skew" photo, just as if it were a picture of a tale. And as you say, it has something of Alice in Wonderland.
Unusual perspective here Nick . . . on the one hand, I like the ornamental decorations under the eaves. On the other hand, the picture seems a tad distractingly off horizon. When I look, though, I'm not sure how to level it. If you use the eave lines by the artistic work, as a level, the window will tilt even more back . . . which may be appropriate since I see snow on the panes. Then again, using the verticle lines on the window panes throw off the eaves . . . I feel a little like Alice in Wonderland! :)
