Don't misunderstand me either, mon cher. I love Italy and the Italiens. Nothing works in this country but the rest is phantastic. And if something doesn't work it doesn't matter. Somehow everything comes to an good end.

Vous savez que les Italiens ne sont pas tous des doges et qu'ils ne viennent pas tous de Florence ou de Venise; ils ne sont pas tous pas de votre classe. Ceux qui sont ici viennent en général des Pouilles et sont maçons ou casseurs de pierres ; pas de marbre ou d'ardoise... pas dans leur moyens... et ils en ont assez vu dans leur pauvre pays et vive l'Amérique... ils font du stucco dans leurs demeures...

Ne vous mettez pas dans la tête que je ne les aime pas, c'est faux archi-faux... de grands designers et urbanistes, très esthétiques et de très bons maçons...des doges je n'en connais pas. Salut vieille branche.
