Thanks Nessa . . . Do you find that some movement in the blades would be preferable to a faster shutter speed and freezing them all together? (Just curious, I had considered that too).

Interesting. I almost couldn't save this one Hugo . . . handheld (with a dangling tripod) since they came around a tree and I had almost no time to frame and track them, I fired a series of shots as I swung to almost straight up and then pivoted to get the departure. The right side was not cropped at all and, therefore, I had little choice left in composition. But, as you said, it is dynamic. This is one of the few where the wing of either one or the other wasn't clipped off. An altogether interesting day!
