Arijit, this is black and white image. I know you are good in realising the tones of a black and white image. Composition is a bit tight, as far as I think sitting in front of a computer. The story would have been more strong if the tree grown in the wall was also in the frame. This is my opinion, you are the best judge because you know the real situation.

Nicely composed and the contrast is spot on, Arijit. You may have figured out that I like taking photographs of old doors and window by just looking through my portfolio. And this is a very good "eye catcher". Well spotted!

Thank you so much for the nice comments.
I was going through your portfolio and you have captured life and elements in your country so well. This one is very evocative. The run down door and the graffitti on the right make for a very strong image. I think the colored version is also very good.
