No escape

Pairs of intersecting parallels

The morning joy of the prisoner

For ages

In steady motion

Fire on the ground

Same good old thing

The attacking white

The first look at the world

Street in sunlight and shadows

So many thanks for the wonderful comment, Giuseppe!

And no, I dod no darkening or anything else. Most most of the time, I just scan and post - without any enhancements what so ever.

The darker hues of water, if this is what you mean, come due to single spot light metering on the swan, which of course as something white reflects much more light that the rest. So, the exposition time gets shorter, which darkens the other parts of the photo - i.e. the water. That's what I did.

Many many thanks again, Giuseppe!

I love the mix of natural and geometric patterns: this is perfect! And the light is beautiful(have you darkened the angles, as Adams teachs?). Excellent work: in My Favourites.
Bravo Nick.
Ciao.

Nice capture of this swan. I like the tones and the vignetting. Well done.
