Method:
Take one photo crisply focused but 2 stops over exosed on slide film. Take another photo out of focus ( at nearest distance of lens ) and full open aperture, exposure 1 stop over exposed. Mount slides into one holder.
This is how the photo looks projected onto the wall, I love it.

Terrific washed out colour! Love the softness of the background - it's a macro of a slide sandwhich then - the softness from restricted dof.?
