- Apparently this is where the term "Bird-brained" came from! Thanks for commenting! Karen: Good news and great pictures. I was glad to see it's going well. I have attached the pdf Beacon file . . . as I'm running late again. I'm at work and couldn't seem to get the regular e-maill address to handle it (hence the substitute address).
Thanks, Doyle <-----

It's really a wierd deal Ron . . . I always pictured flamingos as looking one way . . . and then you see them from white to red . . . it throws you off!

Thanks Mary - They're so much fun to watch too. They twist their heads upside down and scoop water into the tops of their beaks to drink!

Thanks for the comments Ron. These particular birds were quite pale . . . the color is derived from their diets. Although I did add a bit of saturation in post, I did not want the image to be inaccurate in portraying the actual scene. ;D

Doyle- just beautiful- the colours and light and water. Really stresses the necks where you positioned them. And to see that eye!

Great looking birds. I like the lines emphasising those long necks. The shot could have used a shot of saturation in post.
